Quiz at the Goat
Description
The popular monthly quiz at The Goat takes place on the last Thursday of the month when teams of up to six people from all over the village compete for cash prizes.
There are five rounds of questions on a chosen theme with the last round being a ‘wipe-out’ round. Get one question out of ten wrong and you lose all the points for that round. Get them all right and your team earns an extra five points.
It's just £3 per person to enter. The first prize is £75 in cash with the runners-up receiving £25 and the team in last place enjoying the ‘chips of shame’ as a consolation.
The quiz is very popular so booking is essential and tables can be reserved by calling the Goat team on 01992 535788. You can make a night of it by enjoying a meal beforehand but please book for early evening as food service stops before the quiz starts.
